Abstract capture of Ord Battery which is located at the state park Fort Columbia in the extreme southwest corner of the state of Washington.
Construction on the battery began in 1896 and took 20 months to complete. Manned during World War II the battery is in good enough shape to self tour but is not being restored as the officers row and other out buildings at the park.
