Description
A newly built archway at the entrance of the Nahcotta pier. Standing at the gateway gave me the feeling of a defining line between lifestyles as I stood in awe of the men and women who spend long days on the water of the Wilapa Bay to earn their living. This is a quiet moment in the lives of those fisherpeople.

Fantastic! Those who make their living fishing have their own lifestyle. There is not much that can beat the site of a boat, low in the water, steaming home with the catch. I love this shot. Again thank you for a wonderful description. V/f

Superb capture of this great scenic place, Pamela! Love the wood "framing" of the slanted walkway and the dock and boats. All the elements fall into place so well due to your great angle of capture, which provides awesome depth and perspective! Love it! fave and vote

Thank you very much for that Vivian. Portal is the exact word that I was searching for, that is how it felt that day, visually transported.
