Description
The historic Astoria-Megler bridge crossing the Columbia River in the city of Astoria Oregon at blue hour. During construction some dubbed this bridge "the bridge to nowhere" as it spanned the Columbia River to the small area of the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington state. Its completion saw it replace the river ferry.

Thank you for submitting your image to ART IN ARCHITECTURE group Pamela. Very nice image of the bridge and it looks like the same design as the Francis Scott Key Bridge that recently collapsed in Maryland.
Pamela Patch replied:
The Astoria Megler bridge is similar at least in span of the Francis Scott Key bridge. There were some recent concerns but the passing of the second largest ship to ever grace our waters,, MSC Flavia 1200 feet long ( bigger than Dali) gained renewed faith in our bridge.
